Plakette zur 1300-Jahrfeier der Stadt Soest am 6. Juli 1924. Relief des Osthofentors aus Messingblech. Darunter Balken mit Aufschrift "SOEST 1300 JAHRE / 6. Juli 1924". Auf der Rückseite angelötete Sicherheitsnadel.

Für das Datum der 1300-Jahrfeier gibt es keine Quellengrundlage. Die erste urkundliche Erwähnung als "Villa Sosat" datiert auf das Jahr 836.
