Description

Dunkelblauer, fester Kammgarn-Jeansstoff in Leinwandbindung. Diese Stoffe wurden Ende der 1970er Jahre in der Firma Gebr. Pfau (VEB Volltuchwerke Crimmitschau) hergestellt. Das Stoffstück ist beschnitten und besteht aus Baumwolle und Denim. Letzteres ist ein kräftiges, strapazierfähiges, köperbindiges Gewebe aus Baumwolle oder Viskosefasern, teils auch aus synthetichen Fasern. Klassischerweise wird für Denim ein Kettköper verwendet, bei dem ausschließlich der Kettfaden mit Indigo gefärbt und der Schussfaden weiß ist.
