Description

Das Bild zeigt eine konfrontative Szene zwischen einem Zivilisten und einem uniformierten Vertreter der exekutiven Staatsgewalt. Der Titel bezieht sich auf den 40. Jahrestag der DDR am 7. Oktober 1989. Das Bild, welches als eine Übermalung einer älteren Arbeit auf Spanplatte vorliegt, entstand vermutlich im selben Zeitraum wie die Bilder des Zyklus "Deutschland".
