Die Fotografie gibt den Blick über Großschönau vom Hutberg aus wieder. Den 370 Meter hohen Hutberg kaufte Großschönau 1877 für 12.000 Mark von Zittau zurück. Ortsbildprägend ist die evangelisch-lutherische Kirche, im Hintergrund unverkennbar die Lausche - der höchste Berg im Zittauer Gebirge.
