Die Notizen des Sammlers Chr. Fr. Bernhard Augustin zu diesem Blatt lauten:
"Abbildung der metallenen Grabplatte im nördlichen Seitenschiffe des Doms, gezeichnet von Herm. Schäfer im Aug. 1842
Umschrift: Anno Domini 1538 die 13 Septembris obiit insignis vir Dominus Joannes de Marnholt Ecclesiae Halberstadiensis Decanus et Praepositus (Walbeocensis) in Medinge et Walbec et caetera cujus animae misereatur Deus.
Er hat in seinem Testamente sehr bedeutende milde Stiftungen gemacht"
