Die Notizen des Sammlers Chr. Fr. Bernhard Augustin zu diesem Blatt lauten:
"Handzeichnung von Herm. Schäfer, nach dem Originalleichensteine im August 1849
geboren zu Arnstadt 6 Oct. 1606. Prorector an der Martinischule zu Braunschweig 1630, Rector der Catharinenschule daselbst 1632, Pastor zu Valstedt im braunschweigischen in demselben Jahre; 1649 ward er nach Halberstadt zum Compastor an der Martinikirche berufen und nach M. Lucas Alsleben Tode 1654 Oberprediger / 1656 Consistorialrath. Er starb als Senior des Ministeriums den 6 April 1674."
