Description

Oberster Aufsatz eines evangelischen Kanzelaltars in Dreieckform. Farbe graugrün bis anthrazit, Rahmen und Buchstaben des Gottes- Tetragrammes in gold. An allen drei Seiten und Rückseite je drei Dübellöcher sowie in jedem Winkel ein Dübel zur Befestigung. Lt. Aussage von Dr. Seyderhelm, Konsistorium Magdeburg, im Barock den Altären häufig zu oberst das Auge Gottes oder der Name Gottes in jüdischer Sprache aufgesetzt. Mitunter auch in eine Sonnengloriole eingesetzt gewesen (würde die vielen Dübellöcher erklären)
