Erstes luftgekühltes Deutz-Modell auf der Basis des erfolgreichen Bauernschleppers F1M414 ("Elfer-Deutz") von 1936. Neu war die gefederte Vorderachse. Die als "Knubbel-Deutz" bekannte 50er-Variante des F1L514 wurde von 1950 bis 1951 produziert.
