Description

Der Tafelaufsatz (Prunkgeschirr mit rein dekorativer Funktion) wurde dem Bürgermeister Rudolph Bart (1857-1920) von den Beamten der Stadt Bad Dürkheim zu seinem 25. Dienstjubiläum (1917) geschenkt.
Rudolph Bart war in seiner Jugend als Matrose der kaiserlichen Marine zur See gefahren und hatte auf der SMS Elisabeth unter dem Kommando von Kapitän zur See von Wickede 1876-1878 eine Reise um die Erde gemacht.
