August Heiser gestaltete die neunklappige Pariser Patent-Ophikleide von 1821 mit dem zirkulär gebogenen Aufsteckbogen ohne Stimmzug sowie den französischen Klapplagern und -formen nach. Erweiterungen im Berlin-Potsdamer Lokalstil: Schallstück zum Ende zu stärker, Stützenrand aus Neusilber u. Oberzwingenform.
