Um 1920 hieß hieß das Gasthaus Albers, um 1933 Gasthaus Friedrich Krome und von 1989 bis 2012
Gasthaus Krome. Genannt wurde es auch "Berns".

Zu der Gaststätte ist im Kreismuseum Syke ein Fragebogen des Projekts "Das Gaststättenwesen im Landkreis Diepholz " vorhanden. Zusätzlich sind im Kreismuseum 69 Anlagen vorhanden, darunter :

- Postkarte: Albers-Gasthaus (später Krome) um 1930
- Foto: Gaststätte Krome, um 1947.
- Foto: Gaststätte Krome, Luftaufnahme, um 1953.
