Fotografie einer Gruppe von uniformierten Soldaten auf dem matschigen Hof eines verfallenen Gehöfts. Zwei Männer mit Schürze, etwa in der Mitte Julius Hövel mit Pferd. Stark verblasste Schwarzweiß-Fotografie, Querformat, nicht formatfüllender, leicht schiefer Abzug auf Postkartenpapier.

Auf der Rückseite mit Bleistift Motivbezeichnung "Ferme-la-Strupp" (=Strupp-Farm).
