Dieses Buch, im Jahr 1980 erschienen, ist ein Nachdruck der 1. und 4. Auflage. Die 1. Auflage stammte aus dem Jahr 1915, die 4. Auflage aus dem Jahr 1929. Dieses Exemplar enthält eine Widmung von Alfred Wegeners Frau Else Wegener an ihre Tochter Lotte Wegener zu Weihnachten 1980. Das Buch wurde im Jahr 2010 dem Museum geschenkt. 381 Seiten
