Description

Dargestellt ist eine halb geöffnete Seerosenblüte mit einem Laubblatt und einem Stück der Stengel. Die Kronblätter der Blüte weisen in einen Winkel des Formats; das Motiv ist diagonal ins Bild gesetzt. Zu beiden Seiten der Kronblätter erkennt man die dunkler gefärbten Kelchblätter der Blüte. Die Blüte ist unterfangen von einem Laubblatt. Dieses ist quer zur Wuchsrichtung der Blüte in der anderen Diagonalachse ausgerichtet, beidseitig begleitet von kurzen Schlingen, die von den Trieben der Pflanze gebildet werden.
