Josef Bauer erhält den Ehrenbürgerbrief aus den Händen des Bürgermeisters Jupp Schuld. Im Bild reicht der der Ehefrau von Josef Bauer die Hand.
Josef Bauer war von 1945 bis 1969 Bürgermeister in der Gemeinde Bodendorf und einiger Ehrenbürger des Ortes. Jupp Schuld war der letzte Bürgermeister der selbstständigen Gemeinde Bodendorf, die 1969 in die Stadt Sinzig eingemeindet wurde.
