Description

Kanne mit schräg nach oben laufendem Ausgussrohr. Die Kanne ist von kugeliger Form, hat einen stark eingezogenen Fuß und einen Ohrenhenkel. In der Mitte auf der einen Seite steht in blauer Schrift: "SYR RIBIUM". Umschlossen wird die Aufschrift durch blaue Ranken, die oben eine strahlende Sonne umgeben. Die Rückseite ist unverziert. Die Kanne fand ursprünglich in einer Apotheke Verwendung und enthielt "Syrupus Ribium" lateinisch für Johannisbeersirup. Dieser wurde zur Kühlung, etwa bei einem Fieber, verwendet.
