The displayed man, the Egmont Richter (1868-1931), worked as an "Hofschauspieler" (the lord's appointed actor) in Stuttgart starting in 1896 and later graduated to work as an administrator and actor at the Württembergisches Landestheater (State Theatre of Württemberg).
