Description

Die Münze zeigt auf der Vorderseite eine Festung oder befestigte Stadt, darüber eine Glocke, die von drei emporgerckten Armen geläutet wird. Die Umschrift lautet: Tandem Patientia Victrix Ano 1643. Auf der Rückseite ein Wappen, dazu die Umschrift Augustus Hertzog zu Braun U L U. Dabei handelt es sich um August den Jüngeren (1635-1666) von Braunschweig - Neue Linie Wolfenbüttel. Der VII. Glockentaler von 1643 wurde aus Anlass der Räumung Wolfenbüttels in der Münzstätte Goslar geprägt.
