Vorderseite: Auf dem oberen Bild erkennt man eine Stadt, die auf dem unteren Bild zerstört worden ist. Darüber steht: "Nr.129: Rückansicht des Dorfes La Ville aux Vois / vor und nach dem Trommelfeuer Ende Sept. 1915";
Rückseite: Handschriftlicher Text:
"13.5.16 / Liebe Tante Selma! / Da ich leider bis heute von / Dir, liebe Tante, ohne Nachricht / auf meinen letzten Brief bin / so möchte ich nicht verfehlen / Dir wiederum nach ziemlich / langer Zeit herzliche Grüße / zu senden. Ich befinde mich noch / wohlauf und hoffe das Gleiche / von Euch Allen. Ich werde voraus- / sichtlich im Juli auf Urlaub / gehen und möchte natürlich nicht / wieder durch Köln fahren, ohne / meine l. Verwandten einmal zu sehen. / Valls (sic.) es Euch also angenehm ist / bitte ich um Nachricht, damit ich / mich darauf einrichten kann. / Sonst wüsste ich nichts neues./
