"Sonntag Abend, d. 17.9.1916/ Meine Liebste mit den Kleinen!/ Heute deine Karte vom Frei-/tag erhalten u. wundere mich/ vor allem, das Hänschen schon/ wieder gesund ist, wenns nur/ nicht zu früh ist, daß noch etwas/ zurück bleibt zum Schluß, daß/ Packetchen ist noch nicht an-/ geommen, wird aber wohl noch/ kommen, hast du wohl meinen/ Brief vom Freitag erhalten?/ Bin noch gesund u. munter,/ sonst nichts Neues, daher/ herzl.
