Description

Der Apple II war der erste "persönliche" Tischcomputer der kommerziell am Markt erfolgreich war. Im Gegensatz zum Apple I wurde die Hauptplatine in einem Kunststoff-Gehäuse nebst Tastatur, Bildschirm und Software ausgeliefert. Das Textverarbeitungsprogramm "Apple Writer" und die Tabellenkalkulations-Software "VisiCalc" waren die Grundlage für den Erfolg. Mit dem Apple II begann der Aufstieg von Apple zum erfolgreichsten Unternehmen der Welt.
