Description

Dieser Bomber der us-amerikanischen Luftstreitkräfte, eine B-17 Flying Fortress, ist in der Umgebung des brandenburgischen Dorfes Blüthen (Westprignitz) höchstwahrscheinlich notgelandet. Gemeindepfarrer Karl Groß machte die Aufnahme des Wracks am 20.04.1944. Ein Vermerk, ob die Besatzung überlebt hat, ist in den Aufzeichnungen des Pfarrers bisher nicht gefunden worden.
