Description

Hüftportrait eines Knaben mit schwarzgelocktem Haar, frischem Gesicht und dunklen Augen. Er trägt einen schwarzen Samtanzug mit schmalem Gürtel um die Brust. Am Kragen trägt er eine schmale rote Fliege. Seine rechte Hand faßt an den Griff eines Neurokokosessels mit rotem Samtbezug und vergoldeter Ornamentik. Der braungrünliche Hintergrund hinter dem Kopf des Knaben ist aufgehellt. Rechts unten wurde in roter Farbe signiert: "E. Pröschold 1876". Reich profilierter, vergoldeter Holzrahmen mit klassizistischen Ornamenten.
