Dargestellt ist ein sehr korpulenter Mann, der nach links geneigt ist. Er trägt einen schwarzen Mantel und hat ein langes Tuch um seinen Hals gebunden. Sein Blick ruht prüfend auf dem Betrachter. Sein Haupt ist schon ganz kahl, nur an den Seiten hat er kurzes, welliges Haar. Ein Oval fasst dieses Porträt ein. Darunter ist der Name zu lesen (s.o.).
