Das Nivelliergerät ist ein Präzisionsinstrument zur Bestimmung von Höhennetzen und Höhenpunkten. Ein solches Gerät wurde von den Stahl- und Brückenbauern der Firma 'Christoph & Unmack AG', Niesky/OL, verwendet.
Zu dem Gerät gehört eine Aufbewahrungsbox aus Holz, die man mit Hilfe eines Ledergurtes leicht tragen konnte.
