Description

Ungefähr 80 gerollte Papierstreifen sind mit einer elfenbein-goldgelben Atlasseidenschleife zu einem Bündel zusammengefasst. Die gefalteten oder gerollten Papierstreifen die man am offenen Feuer entzündete, um damit eine Pfeife oder ein Licht anzuzünden, nannte man Fidibus. Fidibusse waren seit Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts bis in das 19.Jahrhundert im Gebrauch.
