Description

Diese Farbaquatinta stammt wie eine Fülle weiterer Arbeiten aus Höpfners später Schaffensphase.
Sie ist eines von vielen Beispielen für seine Beschäftigung mit Motiven aus Fernost - insbesondere China und zugleich jener aus der Welt von Theater und Oper.

Das Blatt ist unter der Grafik links mit dem Bildtitel und rechts mit der Originalsignatur "W. H." sowie der Datierung "63" bezeichnet.
Ganz unten links die Nummer des Werkverzeichnisses "911".

Unter WM-WH-1189 und 1190 existieren zwei weitere Drucke von dieser Platte in der Sammlung.
