Description

Diese Farbaquatinta - hier ein Neudruck von Augustinski - stammt wie eine Fülle weiterer Arbeiten aus Höpfners später Schaffensphase.
Sie ist eines von vielen Beispielen für seine Beschäftigung mit Motiven aus Fernost - v. a. aus China - und zugleich jenen aus Theater und Oper.

Das Blatt ist unter der Grafik links mit dem Bildtitel und rechts mit dem Vermerk "für Wilhelm Höpfner sign: Johanna Höpfner" sowie der Datierung "63" bezeichnet.
Ganz unten links die Nummer des Werkverzeichnisses "W.V. 904" und der Vermerk "imp. Augustinski".

Unter WM-WH-1176 und 1177 existieren zwei Originaldrucke Höpfners in der Sammlung, unter WM-WH-1179 ein weiterer Neudruck von Augustinski.
