Description

Karl Gottlob August von Thermo tritt 1771 in das sächsische Kadettenkorps ein und wechselt 1779 in preußische Dienste. 1805 wird er im Range eines preußischen Majors pensioniert. Angehörigen des Adels, wie dem aus dem sächsischen Zieckau bei Luckau stammende von Thermo, gelingt es auch bereits vor 1815 die Loyalitäten zu wechseln.
