Vorbilder für Fabrikanten und Handwerker. Erster Theil, Zweite Abtheilung, S. 100:
"Blatt 21. Die hier abgebildete kolossale Marmorvase ward im Jahre 1769 von Gavin Hamilton in der Villa Adriana gefunden. Im Jahre 1774 brachte sie Lord Grenville an sich und führte sie nach England, als eine Zierde seines Landsitzes Stow."
