Description

Diese Pieta (Maria mit dem Leichnam Christi) ist aus Lindenholz als Reliefplastik gearbeitet und war vermutlich ursprünglich Teil eines spätgotischen Schnitzaltars.
Sie gelangte aus dem Altbestand des Genthiner Museums in die Sammlung der Stiftung. Ihre genaue Herkunft ist unbekannt.
