Description

Diese Marienfigur – betende Mutter Gottes auf einem Sockel kniend - ist aus Lindenholz als Reliefplastik gearbeitet und war vermutlich ursprünglich Teil eines spätgotischen Schnitzaltars. Ihr Kopf ist beschädigt.
Die Plastik gelangte aus dem Altbestand des Genthiner Museums in die Sammlung der Stiftung. Ihre genaue Herkunft ist unbekannt.
