Dieses Korallenband stammt von einem Elbsegler und gelangte 1957 aus dem Kahnabbruchgeschäft von Ernst Reinicke in Tangermünde in das Museum.
Oben am Sprietsegel ist das Korallenband befestigt, das um den Mast herum liegt. Dieses Band ist nach der Art einer Korallenkette mit acht bis zehn Holzkugeln versehen und soll das Hochheißen des Segels am Mast erleichtern.
