Dieses Porträt des Dichters und Begründers unserer klassischen deutschen Literatur, Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock (1724-1803) von Anton Hickel, entstanden im Jahr 1798 im Hamburgischen Gymnasium, nahm J. Gerhard Huck als Vorlage für sein Schabkunstblatt und widmete es Seiner Königlichen Hoheit Friedrich, Kronprinz und Mitregent in Dänemark.
