Description

The ear ornaments were worn by Angami Naga men at festivals, but also sometimes in everyday life. They are made from goat hair coloured with vegetable dyes and decorated with Job’s tears (a type of grain) and the chitin from beetle shell. The ear ornaments are worn with the kilt I C 26291 a, the armbands and leggings I C 26291 b-e, the neck ornament (f) the headgear (g) and the boar’s tusk (k)
