Description

The headdress is made of curved wood and adorned with hornbill feathers. The hornbill has a special significance for the Naga. Only socially high-ranking men were allowed wear their feathers. The headdress is worn by men of the Angami Naga for dancing and belongs to the garments I C 26291 a-k
