Opium Pipe

Description

The opium pipe is made of bamboo. A small amount of opium is placed in a hole in the smaller inserted pipe. The heated opium is then inhaled from one of the large openings. Opium was mostly used sporadically as relief for mental or physical pain – by all Naga groups.
