Description

Aus grobem Hanf (?) mit Applikationen in hell- und dunkelblauem Baumwollstoff und linearen Stickereien.
Gewand ist für ein Frauengewand ungewöhnlich prächtig, i.d.R. sind die Männergewänder die prächtigeren Stücke (B. Ohlsen, 26.9.1992)
Gewand aus Nesselfaser. Gefärbtes Nesselgarn in Streifen eingewebt. Dunkelblauer und hellblauer Baumwollstoff ist aufgenäht und mit weißem, braunem, rotem, violettem und dunkelblauem Baumwollgarn bestickt. Daß die Stickereien über die Applikationen bis auf das Grundgewebe hinausreichen, ist eigentümlichfür die Gewänder der Ainu auf Sachalin. Ärmel: mojiri-sode.
