Description

Das Bild zeigt eine Dame in der Mode Charles IX., König von Frankreich (1560 bis 1574). Sie trägt ein prächtiges, weiß-seidenes, golddurchwirktes und perlenbesetztes Kleid mit hohem Kragen sowie perlenbesetzten Kopfschmuck. Einen der weißen Gaze-Handschuhe hält sie in der rechten Hand. Das Bild gehört zu einer Serie von Blättern mit Darstellung schöner Frauen in aufwendigen Trachten und Gewändern.
