Filzmütze
Material: brauner Filz.
Die Filzmütze ist aus naturfarben brauner Wolle in einem Stück gearbeitet. Die Wole wurde wie üblich geklopft bzw. gerollt, geprßt und in feuchtem heißem Zustand auf eine Form aus Ton oder Holz gestülpt und trocknen gelassen. Die Mütze hat kein Futter und keine Verzierungen. Sie wurde nach ihrer Bearbeitung in kochendes Wasser getaucht. Dadurch zog sich der Filz nochmals zusammen und gab der Mütze eine besondere Steifheit.
