Feldpostbrief im Querformat, zum Falten. Auf der Außenseite: Stempel 1: "K(...)l. Bayr. / 91 / (...)", Stempel 2: "(...)", Anschrift: "Kosmas Schultz / Winzer / St. Martin / (Rh. Pfalz)", Absender: "Schütze Franz Schultz / 10 bayr. Inf. Division / Inf. Regt. Nr. 16 / (...) M. G. Trupp 91". Auf der Innenseite: handschriftlicher Text.

Transkription:
"Geschrieben den 12 Januar 1917 / L. Eltern! / Ich will euch mitteilen daß es / mir noch gut geht heute ge- / hen wir wieder in Stellung / ich bin in (Gallizien) (...linger) / Paul habe ich auch heute / getroffen er ist auch beim / 16 Regt Post habe ich bis / jetzt noch nicht erhalten / jetzt kann ich wieder mehr schreiben / auf (...) habe ich nicht / schreiben können sonst gehts / gut Franz / auf Wiedersehen".
