Auf der Vorderseite Portrait Kaiser Wilhelm II. nach rechts blickend. Auf der Rückseite vier Soldaten bei der Ordensverleihung. Zwei Soldaten werden von zwei Offizieren mit dem Eisernen Kreuz ausgezeichnet. Auf der Seite Zweckinschrift "Helden überall zur See zu Land in der Luft".
