Der Stich zeigt die Belagerung der Stadt Grave in den Niederlanden. Im Vordergrund sind Soldaten, am Flussufer sind Kanonen aufgestellt. Diese beschießen die Stadt. Am jenseitigen Ufer stürmt das Heer die Stadtmauern.

Bezeichnet: De Stadt Grave, door den Prins van Parma, in den Jaare 1586. belegert.
