Hochformat. Antiklerikales, satirisches Flugblatt, in blau und rot koloriert, gegen die Stellung der katholischen Kirche im französischen Staat. Ein Kardinal auf einem Podest schüttet Geld in eine Menschenmenge. Diese halten erhobene Dolche in den Händen. Darunter ein antiklerikaler Text.
Die Darstellung erinnert an ein Bild von Jacques-Louis David "Der Schwur der Horatier".
