Querformat. Links oben in Lichtloch die Halbfigur der Mutter Gottes, die das nackte Kind in eine Windel wickelt. (Maria Plainer Gnadenbild). Das Bild füllt vor schwarzem Himmel ein baumbestandener Hügel, auf diesem ein großes Haus mit Nebengebäude. In das Haus schlägt der Blitz ein. Am unteren Rande in weißer Schrift: "Aus Dankbarkeit. 1859".
