Die ist hier die geweihte Stätte
Wo einst auf ihrem Sterbebette
Die edelste der Frauen lag;
Wo Wälderschatten und grüne Matten
erzählen wir ihr Auge brach.
Wo jeder Halm auf grüner Wiese uns ruft:
Hier weilte einst Luise!
Hier starb mit gottergebenen Sinn
Einst Preussen´s große Königin.
