Johann Elias Haid (1739-1809) porträtierte den Schweizer Maler und Schriftsteller Johann Caspar Füßli (1706-1782) 1780 im Brustbild nach links im Oval.
Füßli, Freund Winckelmanns, publizierte 1778 die "Briefe Winckelmanns an dessen Freunde in der Schweiz".
