Duftkapseln mit Segmenten dienten zur Aufnahme unterschiedlicher Aromen. In jedes Segment konnte ein anderer Duftstoff eingelegt werden, wie die auf einem der noch vorhandenen kleinen Schiebedeckeln erhaltene Bezeichnung "Negel" für die Blütenknospe der Gewürznelke bezeugt. LL
