Dreieckige Einlage aus schwarzem Marmor, auf beiden Seiten geglättet.
In Samarra, der Residenz der abbasidischen Kalifen, waren Paläste und zahlreiche Privathäuser reich mit Friesen aus Stein und Stuck, Einlagen und Wandmalereien geschmückt.
