Description

Das Pilgerzeichen trägt die Darstellung der gekrönten Gottesmutter. Sie thront unter einem Kleeblattbogen, auf ihrem Schoß sitzt das Christuskind. Diesem hält sie mit ihrer Linken die Brust entgegen, nach der das Kind greift. Von der um das Bildfeld laufenden Inschrift ist nur ein Auszug erhalten: „: SIGILLVM BEATE MARI[E... : ...] NIC".
Die Mariendarstellung ähnelt der eines Fassadenmosaiks in S. Maria in Trastevere in Rom, weshalb das Stück aus dieser römischen Pilgerkirche stammen könnte.
Das Stück wird seit dem Zweiten Weltkrieg vermisst.
